New Orleans

Spring break looked a tad bit different for me this year, yes I still managed to travel. But it was nothing fancy just a last minute trip to New Orleans with some girlfriends. And some how I managed to catch the tail end of Mardi Gras lol. Louisiana hands down has the best cuisine I have ever had, but maybe my pescatarian diet had a bit to do with this.

So lately my music taste has changed from hip hop and Rnb, to Jazz and classical ( I think this is a sign I am getting older lol) Watching live Jazz and going to a Piano lounge where the performers played anything the audience requested was fun to watch!

Things to do.

The french quarter was so much fun, especially Bourban Street. Filled with cute little shops, restaurants, and piano lounges its so easy to find things to do.

My favorite spot was Jackson square that had the famous St. Louis cathedral and art for sale.

Now I understand that everyone is not a seafood lover but if you are this is the place to go!

Breakfast: The world famous Cafe Du Monde- There are several around the town I recommend checking out the original location that is open 24 hours.

Lunch and Dinner: Oyster houses are everywhere! Jaeger's seafood and Oyster house was located outside of the city and had tasty oysters( picture showed below).

When traveling to a new place I usually contact a few people I know who are in the area and use yelp to help me decide where to eat!

Where's your favorite Place for seafood? I want to hear from you!
